My Story

Hi, I'm Jeana and I'm so glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from San Diego and have been in private practice since 2014. My practice focuses on depression, anxiety and generational trauma.

Throughout my life, I’ve had ups and downs with my own mental health. While in some of my low moments, what I needed the most was someone to just sit with me and listen to what I was feeling. I didn’t need them to fix it, I just needed to be heard. On the other side, I saw how powerful it was to make someone not feel alone just by being there. These experiences inspired me to become a mental health therapist!

A little bit more about me.. I was born in Guam and grew up in San Diego. My Dad served the US Navy for 20 years and my Mom was a Nurse for 27 years. I owe a lot of my drive, independence and overall privileges to their sacrifices in coming to the US from the Philippines.

I received my Bachelors from Cal State Fullerton in Human Services. I originally was an Accounting major because I loved business, organization and numbers. After one semester of the mundane, mind numbing courses, I switched my major to something that got me really excited.. helping people! Today, I think I've found the perfect balance as an entrepreneur. I love the details and organization it takes to run my businesses but at the center of it, I love being able to impact people's lives. In my undergrad, I had the opportunity to run therapy groups and fell in love with the process. I decided to pursue my career as a Therapist and received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

When I'm not therapist Jeana, I'm a R&B listening, boba drinking, carne asada fries eating, laughing until my belly hurts, sunset watching, yoga practicing wife and mother. I'm passionate about making this world and your world a little bit better and easier to manage.
